This vintage Kilim Seneh measures 4' 8" x 4' 10" and is layered with compact ornament and vivid contrast. A dark ground is animated by a dense field of small geometric and floral motifs, while a pale central medallion brings balance to the composition. The border framework adds rhythm with repeating boteh-inspired forms and narrow bands of colour in red, blue, gold, green, and cream. Visible age softens the palette and gives the surface a lived-in character without obscuring the pattern. Its square-ish proportion makes it well suited to a seating area, reading corner, or beneath a small table. This vintage rug retains a considered, tactile character.
