This Oushak vintage rug measures 3' 5" x 12' 7" and brings a long, elegant presence through a saturated central field and finely worked border. Circa 1920 - 1935, its composition balances bold, geometric medallions in deep red with a warm gold ground and a surrounding field of smaller floral and rosette motifs. The surface shows visible age with moderate fading and softened pile, giving the pattern a gently worn, tactile quality. Its narrow proportions and layered detail make it especially effective in a hallway, along a gallery wall, or beside a bed where colour and ornament can unfold gradually.
