This Kilim Iraqi measures 4' 7" x 5' 10" and brings together a vivid field of vertical bands, starburst forms, and abstract geometric figures in a rhythmic, hand-drawn composition. The palette layers deep red with blue, gold, orange, and white cream accents, giving the surface a lively contrast against its darker ground. Circa 1955 - 1970, it shows noticeable age through softened colour, irregular edges, and worn fringe, while the overall pattern remains strikingly legible. The result is a vintage rug with graphic presence, tactile texture, and an easy sense of movement.
