A stately Agra in hand-dyed wool, this antique rug presents a field of alternating foliate medallions set against a muted lavender-neutral ground. Intricate rosettes and vine work knit the composition into a steady, rhythmic repeat, while layered floral guard borders frame the surface in cream and pale green. The wool has a time-softened hand and shows medium distress with pleasing abrash and edge wear that lend tactile depth. Circa 1900 - 1915. Exact US measurement: 8' 0" x 9' 7".
