At 8' 2" x 11' 0" the design balances saturated blues with soft neutrals and ivory highlights; a dense floral field folds into palmettes and a layered floral border. Wear is modest and considered, preserving a tactile pile and well-defined pattern while introducing a subdued patina. This antique rug presents careful drawing and restrained colourwork, its layered abrash and crisp motifs suggesting early twentieth-century workshops and practised hands. Circa 1930 - 1945 The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
