A Ravar Kerman in wool with a whisper-soft seafoam field and an elaborate cream and gold floral border. A large central medallion and scalloped cartouches dissolve into scrolling arabesques punctuated by rose accents. The surface shows medium, even wear and subtle abrash that read as lived-in patina; the wool retains a soft, low lustre. This antique rug balances formal Persian vocabulary with a faded, painterly palette and measured distress that reads contemporary. Circa 1890 - 1950. Measures 11' 8" x 17' 10". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
