A soft, timeworn Ravar Kerman in wool, rendered in a muted neutral, brown, white and cream palette. An intricate central floral medallion radiates through a densely drawn scrolling vine field, tempered by layered patina and subtle abrash. The multiple floral guard borders remain visible though worn to a warm, muted clarity. This antique rug shows medium distress that preserves the gracious line work while revealing the hand and age of the weaving. Circa 1910 - 1930. Exact size: 16' 8" x 23' 9". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
