A Turkish wool rug in a quietly weathered palette of brown and rust, the field mapped by an all-over floral vine and scattered palmettes. The wide dark guard border frames the composition while softened highlights and surface abrasions reveal decades of use and tactile age. This antique rug retains a graphic, almost calligraphic motif language softened by abrash and even wear; the wool pile reads as muted and patinated. Circa 1900 - 1920. Measurements: 8' 2" x 10' 7". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
