This Agra is a quietly composed antique rug, 15' 0" x 24' 6", rendered in a soft neutral field with scattered teal sprig motifs. The allover layout reads like a measured garden: small floral sprays repeat in regular rows against a cream ground, and a narrow border contains the composition. Wool pile shows medium, even wear and a gentle abrash that softens the colour transitions. The surface has a tactile, lived-in patina that reads as restrained elegance rather than ornament. Circa 1900 - 1935 The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
