This Mahal reads like a softened garden in worn wool: a faded blue field threaded with soft terracotta and muted sage, arranged as repeating urns and scrolling vines. Delicate palmettes and a narrow floral border remain legible beneath an even wash of abrash and medium wear, which lends the piece a tactile, lived-in surface. The neutrals and blue tones are quietly layered, allowing the design to breathe while the wool shows a mellow patina. This antique rug balances evident age with graceful pattern; Circa 1910 - 1930.
