A richly scaled Agra in a saturated red field, worked with ivory medallionwork, gilt accents and dense floral vines. The composition pairs formal vases and stylised animal figures with an allover flowering spray that reads both ornate and airy. Low distress preserves the wool’s tactile surface and the palette’s warm depth. The border frames the field with scrolling foliate motifs and restrained dark ground contrast. This antique rug measures 17' 5" x 20' 0" and carries the kind of age that softens colour while keeping pattern clarity. Circa 1885 - 1925.
