Agra presents a quietly ordered allover of interlocking palmettes and small floral medallions, the red field worn to soft cream and neutral highs. A broad palmette border frames the repeated centre pattern, its outlines mellowed by surface abrash and areas of pile attenuation. The wool body reads as a layered, tactile ground where pattern and age converge. This Agra is an antique rug measuring 11' 7" x 19' 3", its subdued palette and time-softened motif giving a calm, archival presence. Circa 1890 - 1910. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
