An Agra woven in wool, this expansive antique rug presents a soft, faded central medallion set into a scalloped arabesque field. The palette reads cream and muted red with neutral taupe shading and white highlights that emphasize the floral vines and palmette motifs. Surface wear is present but even, lending a tactile, timeworn softness to the pile. The borders retain delicate cartouche detail while abrash and subtle loss animate the composition.
