The all-over floral ground assembles palmettes, small rosettes and delicate vine work into a refined, rhythmic field that reads almost like faded wallpaper. The wide floral main border remains more saturated, framing the surface with disciplined pattern and gentle wear. Woven in wool and presenting medium distress, this antique rug carries a softened, tactile surface and subtle abrash across its span. Circa 1900 - 1935. Measurements: 9' 6" x 17' 6". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
