A large Agra in soft, neutral tones, cream, beige and well-worn browns, rendered in a delicate floral-and-vine ground punctuated by a restrained central medallion. The field is populated with teardrop palmettes and small boteh motifs that read as an overall lace of vinework. The wool shows medium distress, a mellowed surface and subtle abrash that add depth to the palette. This antique rug speaks of steady use and considered care, its drawing softened to a tactile, time-worn clarity. Circa 1910 - 1925. Size: 13' 4" x 16' 5". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
