The field is a delicate network of floral vines and palmettes set within layered guard borders; small gold accents remain amid a broadly faded ivory ground. High distress has softened outlines and given the piece a weathered, tactile surface that reads like textile memory. This antique rug carries a quiet, archival presence at a large scale. Circa 1920 - 1940. Measurements: 18' 5" x 21' 6". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
