Layers of neutral, cream and brown have mellowed into a gentle, tactile surface where floral medallions and scrolling vine work remain legible beneath even abrasion. The wide border reads as a cool counterpoint, its pattern softened but present. Surface abrash and medium distress give the piece depth and a quiet sense of age; the weave retains subtle pile variation and touchable texture.
