A richly toned Agra in wool, the deep purple field hosts an elegant central medallion layered with scrolling floral vines and muted blues. The ivory border provides a soft, contrasting frame of palmettes and trailing foliage, the palette warmed by gold and tan highlights. Wear is restrained and consistent, the surface showing mellow patina and gentle abrash that reads as lived-in refinement. This antique rug presents a tactile, design-forward presence and remains well preserved for its age. Circa 1885 - 1900. Measures 12' 0" x 15' 3". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
