A dense, wool Mahal rendered in a warm rust ground, 8' 8" x 10' 5". The allover floral lattice repeats small rosettes and angular boteh-like details, set within layered guard borders that frame the field. Cream and white accents brighten the pattern while neutral tones and muted blue hints add depth to the wool pile. The surface shows low distress and a pleasantly even hand, with restrained abrash that reads as lived-in patina rather than heavy wear. This antique rug balances an architectural repeat with a tactile, handmade presence. Circa 1905 - 1925
