A quietly refined Agra in a soft neutral field, woven in wool and worn to a luminous, vintage patina. The all-over floral arabesque and scrolling vines read as layered brushwork, the borders holding softened rosettes and palmettes. Surface wear and selective fading allow warm rose and gold highlights to emerge against an ivory ground, giving the composition a lived-in delicacy. This antique rug measures 5' 10" x 8' 9" and shows medium distress that reads as considered age rather than loss. Circa 1900 - 1920, the piece is tactile, restrained and attentive to the language of handcraft.
