This Heriz reads as an exercise in geometry softened by time. A central angular medallion and secondary lozenge motifs sit within a dense, floral-abstract field rendered in warm brown and neutral tones with cream and white highlights. The wool surface shows even medium wear and mellow abrash that tames the edges of each motif, leaving a tactile, low-contrast patina. The border pattern remains legible beneath the softened pile. The piece measures 4' 6" x 6' 4" and conveys the layered presence of age. An antique rug with structural clarity and quietly worn character. Circa 1910 - 1930
