An Agra in wool with a warm, gold ground and a restrained, classical composition. The 11' 3" x 15' 0" field is populated with stylised palmettes and scrolling arabesques rendered in cream and white against a neutral-gold field, the pattern given room to breathe. Medium distress and softened pile lend a tactile, lived-in surface; subtle abrash and gentle fading animate the motifs without erasing them. The broad border reads as a quiet frame to the central foliage, its outlines softened by time. This antique rug presents a calm, heritage presence and refined surface texture. Circa 1895 - 1910
