An Agra woven in wool, 4' 5" x 6' 0", composed around a vertical chain of geometric floral motifs and framed by layered stepped and floral borders. The restrained palette of neutral, blue, white and cream reads as softened and tactile; abrash and surface abrasion create a warm, lived-in patina while many motif outlines remain clear against the worn ground. The weave language is heritage-aware and quietly architectural, an antique rug that balances pattern and quiet age. Circa 1885 - 1925. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
