Greens trace the scrolling stems while blues and muted rose articulate the floral clusters; a narrow burgundy guard border frames the composition with quiet contrast. The wool pile shows low distress, retaining tactile clarity and colour depth, and the scale reads intimate yet intricate. Circa 1885 - 1900. Size 4' 0" x 6' 8".
