Ravar Kerman presents a broad, quietly aged field of cream and neutral tones punctuated by a deep red central medallion and an array of floral arabesques. Woven in wool, this antique rug shows layered vine work and a series of narrow guard borders rendered with refined line and calm rhythm. Low distress and a consistent sun-patina give the surface a soft, tactile presence while subtle abrash and pale highlights reveal dye variation. Measurements are 12' 6" x 19' 0". Circa 1915 - 1930. The restrained palette and patient wear emphasize the medallion and border composition with an archival, design-literate poise.
