A softly weathered Agra with a quiet, pastel-washed field and restrained foliate ornament. The wool pile has mellowed to cream and warm peach tones, the palmette pendants and rope-like inner border reading as delicate impressions through time. Medium distress gives the piece a tactile patina and a softened surface that highlights the subtle abrash and border motifs. This antique rug retains an elegant, restrained presence, its faded design language and tactile wool giving depth to a neutral palette. Circa 1900 - 1915. Measures 10' 4" x 13' 10". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
