Woven in wool, the surface shows warm crimson field tones punctuated by cream and gold highlights and cooler navy and light-blue accents. Low distress preserves scale and texture, letting the complex palmettes and angular florals read clearly across 8' 7" x 11' 7". The medallion’s layered lattice and the dense guard borders lend a tactile, crafted presence that feels both rooted and immediate. Circa 1885 - 1900.
