A slim Mahal runner that reads as quietly refined. On a soft ivory ground, a small-scale floral lattice interlaces palmettes and hooked boteh forms, punctuated by gold, coral and powder-blue accents. Narrow guard borders echo the field in a warmed gold, the pattern held with calm restraint. The wool pile shows low distress and even mellowing, a tactile surface with gentle abrash and intact edges. This antique rug carries a lived-in patina that privileges texture and craft over ornament. Circa 1915 - 1930. Dimensions: 3' 0" x 7' 7".
