This Baluch is a compact, tactile study in figural motif and restrained colour. Woven in wool on an ivory ground, the field is organized in vertical tree-of-life columns interrupted by elongated guardian figures and reclining animal emblems. Deep reds and warm browns register with graphic clarity against the neutral field while the narrow border of square rosettes frames the composition. The piece shows low distress and well-preserved fringes, a quiet antique rug with palpable texture and a measured patina. Dimensions: 3' 7" x 6' 8". Circa 1900 - 1920. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
