This Baluch runner reads like a compact inventory of tribal motifs: three narrow vertical panels hold stylised human heads and dense figural registers, complemented by small bird and animal forms. Framed by a stepped guard and square medallion border, the wool field balances saturated red and warm brown against a bright neutral ground. The pile shows low, even abrasion and subtle abrash that lends a tactile, timeworn depth without heavy loss. An antique rug with clear tribal character, its proportions (3' 6" x 6' 8") feel composed and immediate. Circa 1900 - 1935
