Woven in wool, the narrow field carries a repeating palmette and dense floral vine rendered in warm neutral, red, white and cream tones. The pile shows low distress and a soft, even patina that emphasizes the fine, compact motifs and the rug’s length. Texture and colour age are legible without heavy loss, giving the piece a refined, lived-in presence. An antique rug of discreet elegance, it measures 2' 2" x 15' 8" and bears the characteristic cadence of provincial Persian design. Circa 1900 - 1915.
