A Heriz of generous scale in wool, the composition centers on a bold, angular medallion framed by serrated palmettes and layered guard borders. A restrained neutral ground is warmed by deep red and navy accents and punctuated by cream highlights, creating a tactile, timeworn surface. Low wear and even abrash allow the geometric motifs and stylised botanical forms to remain legible while the wool pile shows a soft, lived patina. The balance of architectural structure and painterly colour gives the piece an assured presence. This antique rug carries visible age and craft. Circa 1900 - 1915. Dimensions: 11' 4" x 19' 0".
