A long, restrained Agra runner in wool, the composition reads as a sequence of cream lozenges set within a narrow rectilinear field enlivened by muted red accents and subtle neutral abrash. The surface shows a medium level of wear that has softened the pile and mellowed the palette, revealing tactile loops of time in each faded motif. This antique rug retains its quiet geometry and heirloom presence, a study in restraint and craft. Circa 1900 - 1915. Measurements: 2' 2" x 9' 7".
