A generous Heriz in wool, its field arranged with repeating octagonal medallions and serrated lattice motifs rendered in warm terracotta and soft sage. Time has softened the colours to a quiet, tactile palette; abrading and surface wear reveal layers of ivory foundation and muted teal accents. The wide guard borders retain their geometric vocabulary while the field reads like a rubbed, painterly study in pattern and age. This antique rug carries an even, authentic wear and a porous, tactile hand. Circa 1925 - 1940. Size: 11' 6" x 13' 10".
