An Agra in a softened pomegranate and sage palette, this antique rug measures 4' 0" x 6' 7". The field carries an allover floral arabesque of palmettes and mirrored medallions, framed by narrow guard borders. Wool pile shows a balanced, medium distress with visible abrash and softened edges that read as layered use rather than recent restoration. The surface is low and tactile, colours gently faded to warm cream and muted green. Circa 1900 - 1920, the piece reads as a study in dye and wear, quietly articulate and heritage-aware in its presence.
