This vintage Kilim Seneh measures 3' 3" x 4' 0" and brings a lively balance of structure and color. Circa 1945 - 1960, its field is anchored by a bold central medallion in red and blue, surrounded by small geometric and floral motifs that give the piece a rhythmic, hand-drawn feel. The border layers narrow bands of pattern in contrast to the more open centre, while the flat-woven surface reads crisp and graphic. Visible edge character and moderate wear soften the palette and add welcome texture without diminishing its clarity. This vintage rug retains a considered, tactile character.
