Needle Point woolwork in a restrained, antique rug vocabulary: a cream ground hosts a central bouquet and trailing vines rendered in olive greens and soft whites, framed by a narrow rose-pink border and an architectural foliate scroll. The top shows a mossy log motif that reads like a pastoral still life against the field. Surface abrading and frayed edges give a tactile softness and a quiet patina to the wool pile. Circa 1890 - 1910. Measurements: 2' 0" x 3' 3". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
