This Ravar Kerman presents a softly eroded floral field rendered in muted ivories and rose tones against charcoal tracery. The pattern reads as a ghosted central medallion with palmettes, scrolling vines and layered floral guard borders, all held in a warm wool ground. Surface wear and subtle abrash have lifted the palette to a whisper of colour while retaining original drawing and structure. A considered antique rug with visible timeworn character, its 12' 7" x 16' 9" scale and tactile patina give it a quietly architectural presence. Circa 1900 - 1920.
