This Kysari reads as an exercise in restraint, its pale medallion and mirrored palmettes dissolving into a whisper of cream, beige and sage. The scrolling floral field and palmette border remain legible beneath even wear, where subtle abrash and tiny rose and blue accents give the surface depth. A tactile antique rug with a soft, powdery hand, it measures 4' 4" x 5' 4" and shows medium distress that enhances its drawn, architectural lines. Circa 1895 - 1915, the piece feels quietly composed and design-literate, a calm study in muted colour and time.
