A deep red ground is set with scrolling vinework, palmettes, and medallion-like blossoms, all framed by a broad border in navy, cream, gold, and blue-grey. The palette feels grounded yet luminous, with soft variation across the wool surface that gives the composition depth. Circa 1915 - 1930, it reads with a graceful balance of richness and restraint, and the low distress keeps the pattern crisp while allowing the age to remain visible.
