This Kysari antique rug measures 8' 0" x 10' 3" and is rendered in silk with a remarkably restrained, washed surface. The open ivory field is framed by a delicate floral border with repeating roundels, now softened by age into a quiet, atmospheric composition. Fading and tonal variation lend the piece a barely-there elegance, while the visible wear adds depth rather than distraction.
