This Turkish antique rug in wool measures 6' 10" x 11' 0" and carries an allover, time-softened pattern with rounded square medallions linked in a lattice across the field. Faded coral, slate blue, indigo, ivory, and muted gold settle into a gently weathered surface, giving the composition depth without losing its graphic rhythm. The border is understated, allowing the repeating geometry to hold the eye. Circa 1915 - 1930, it reflects a grounded balance of ornament and wear, with medium distress that lends the rug its quiet patina and tactile presence.
