This Caucasian antique rug, sized 2' 9" x 4' 0", presents a disciplined geometric layout softened by age. A deep navy field supports repeating octagonal medallions in red, blue, and rust, while smaller floral-cross motifs and rosette details punctuate the open spaces between them. The multiple borders carry stepped angular ornament in ivory, indigo, and warm earth tones, giving the composition a measured rhythm.
