This Caucasian antique rug measures 3' 2" x 9' 7" and carries a long, narrow composition that feels both graphic and timeworn. A worn neutral ground is bordered by repeating geometric cartouches in blue, rust, cream, and white, with a narrow, patterned outer frame that keeps the design taut. The central field shows pronounced abrasion and softened detail, giving the piece an honest, layered surface.
