A faded central medallion sits within floral ornament and a refined border, all softened by time into cream, brown, muted rust, and traces of blue. The wool surface shows pronounced distress, with generous bleaching and irregular wear that create a washed, atmospheric effect. Circa 1900 - 1930, it reads as both traditional and restrained, with pattern still visible beneath the patina. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
