This Baluch antique rug measures 3' 0" x 5' 9" and presents a warm, time-softened field in rust brown, blue, cream, and white. A disciplined central panel of geometric star motifs is framed by repeating border medallions and narrow guards, giving the composition a quiet, rhythmic balance. The wool surface shows medium distress, with visible fading and patina that mellow the darker outlines and enrich the texture. Circa 1900 - 1915, it carries the grounded character and graphic clarity often sought in Baluch weaving, while retaining an aged, intimate presence that feels layered and lived with.
