This Agra antique rug measures 10' 0" x 11' 6" and carries a lyrical, layered composition drawn across a muted sage and taupe ground. A central medallion settles into scrolling floral forms, while bands of calligraphic ornament arc outward in rose, plum, burgundy, and faded ivory. The surface has a softened, timeworn hand, with visible fading that lends depth to the larger design.
