This vintage Kilim-Iraqi measures 2' 5" x 6' 2" and brings a narrow, striking vertical rhythm to the room. A dark ground sets off hand-drawn looking geometric medallions, rosettes, and stepped forms, while the borders run with striped colour and zigzag linework. The palette leans into red, orange, pink, white / cream, green, and deep black, giving the piece its vivid contrast and worn warmth. Visible fringe and slightly irregular edges add to its handmade character. It works beautifully in a hallway, beside a bed, or in any setting that benefits from a vivid vintage rug with graphic presence.
