This Dorokhsh antique rug, measuring 9' 9" x 12' 11", carries a layered floral composition softened by age and use. A faded central medallion sits within scrolling vines, palmettes, and a finely drawn border, while dusty rose, brown, ivory, and muted green tones drift across the field. The surface shows pronounced wear, an even atmospheric fade, and a tactile patina that lends depth to the design. Circa 1880 - 1915, it reads as both formal and gently dissolved, with wool texture still visible beneath the abrash and distress.
