This Baluch antique rug measures 2' 10" x 4' 5" and carries the grounded, time-softened presence of handwoven wool. A series of nested diamonds and stepped geometric forms build a compact central composition, while layered borders and striped end bands add rhythm and balance. The palette leans into brown, rust, cream, taupe, and muted blue, with areas of gentle fading that soften the contrasts. Medium wear lends surface variation and visible age, enhancing its tactile quality. Circa 1920 - 1945. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
